Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Installation

These Terms & Conditions apply to quotations and to plumbing, heating, radiator and air conditioning work carried out by DESIGNN LTD (Designn), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17348821). They also cover your use of designnuk.com.
We provide written quotations after discussing your requirements and, where needed, visiting the property. A quotation sets out the work, materials, price and how long it remains valid. Requesting a quote is free and does not commit you to anything.
A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing (email is fine) and we confirm a start date. Any changes you ask for after that, or extra work found to be necessary once work begins, will be agreed with you before we carry them out.
The price is as stated in your quotation. Any deposit, stage payments and payment due dates are set out in the quotation. Final payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We supply materials as described in the quotation unless you have agreed to provide them. Where you supply materials, we are not responsible for their quality, suitability or delivery delays. Manufacturer warranties on equipment such as boilers, radiators or air conditioning units are passed on to you.
We will do our best to keep to agreed dates. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including supplier shortages, severe weather, or problems at the property that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand. We will keep you informed and agree any new dates with you.
We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. If you are unhappy with any part of our work, tell us as soon as possible and give us the chance to put it right. Any workmanship guarantee will be stated in your quotation.
If you are a consumer and the contract was agreed at your home or online, you can cancel within 14 days of accepting the quotation without giving a reason. If you ask us to start work within that 14-day period and then cancel, you will pay for work carried out and materials ordered up to the point you cancel.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or any liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for damage caused by pre-existing faults, misuse, or work carried out by others.
If something is not right, please email us with details. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it fairly and quickly.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you accept your quotation applies to that job. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
